The art of debating and logical storytelling is an integral life skill – especially for a transactional lawyer. The art of lawyering ultimately comes down to constructive communication, with the ability to employ logic while conveying your point concisely. The Resolüt Debate is to identify people who are eloquent speakers, solution finders, critical thinkers with a strong rooting in first principles thinking.

The entries, with the support of the college debating society, are subjected to a rigorous shortlisting process focused on – clarity of thought, ability to communicate in simple and concise manner, and the ability to deploy common sense to create an engaging narrative. From the initial entries we shortlist 8 of the best presenters, to debate one-on-one in knockout rounds.

Resolüt debate winners are entitled to cash prizes and also an opportunity to work with us. We strongly believe in the potential of youth – their enthusiastic minds and fresh perspectives, the willingness to step out of their comfort zones and engage in constructive and respectful discourse.
