The art of debating and logical storytelling is an integral life skill – especially for a transactional lawyer. The art of lawyering ultimately comes down to constructive communication, conveying your point concisely and logically.

Through the Resolüt Debate Program we are seeking the brightest minds with the ability to think on first principles and employ logic and common sense.

To reward merit and skill in debate we are offering a cash prize pool of INR 50,000 and an opportunity to train with us at our office in Mumbai and participate in some of the most high-value transactions for the largest clients in the market.

We had begun our search for the sharpest minds in the country by running our first debate program at School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.

We opened applications to 50 keen aspiring students from the 4th and 5th year batches. Applicants were asked to submit video recordings in the TedX style speech (either for or against) on the motion: Organ donation after death – should it be mandatory as against elective?

After a rigorous shortlisting process, we set up live one-on-one debates between 8 of the best presenters in knock-out rounds judged by the members of our team.

The finals were judged by Vyapak Desai, [Lead – International Disputes & Investigations], at Nishith Desai Associates, and Ruchir Sinha, Managing Partner, Resolüt Partners.
