About

Real estate alternatives like social infrastructure, data centres and logistics are garnering increasing interest. These asset classes, which qualify as ‘infrastructure’ from a regulatory standpoint, are entitled to tax benefits, lower borrowing costs, and exits through private infrastructure investment trusts. We have seen an increasing keenness in global institutional investors to invest in these assets either directly or through the creation of captive investment platforms. The pipeline seems impressive.

In this event, we focus on evolving strategies for real estate alternatives and the impact of Budget 2023 on these asset classes and the various aspects that go into successful dealmaking in real estate alternatives.
