Overview

Arjun, has regularly advised domestic and foreign commercial enterprises, financial institutions, private equity funds, on their investments in and exits from Indian companies, involving advice on transaction structuring and Indian securities and foreign exchange control regulations. 

Arjun has extensive experience in advising venture capital and growth-stage funds on their investments into new-age technology companies and have represented them both as part of their domestic and overseas investments (Southeast Asian and US markets).

  • Advised Sequoia Capital in its investment in a sports-based NFT platform, Faze Technologies Inc. (~USD 100m).
  • Advised BASF India Limited in its sale of its leather chemicals business to Stahl India (~ USD 20m).
  • Advised Sequoia Capital in its investment in a used car buying platform Moladin (~ USD 9.5m).
  • Advised Surge (Sequoia Capital) in its investment in Flint Money (~ USD 5.10m).
  • Advised Green Light Foods Private Limited (Monsoon Harvest) (and Lok Capital – existing investor), in its acquisition by Wingreens Farms Private Limited.
  • Advised Whitehat Education Technology Private Limited (WhitehatJr) and its promoter as part of its Series A investment (~ USD 10m).
  • Advised IIFL PE in its pre-IPO investments in Data Patterns and Aether Industries (each ~ USD 8-10m).
